I am probably having a 'blonde' moment here (apologies to all blonde people) but is it ok to use a sulphur candle in a wooden greenhouse? :(
I have used them in aluminium greenhouses for years, however there is something in my head that says I should be using a different sort of fumigating agent.
Advice most welcome, thanks.

Yes, it's ok ;) Just not so close to the frame that it could catch light, obviously :D

I went to W*lko looking for these but they had none. Just Christmas stuff >:(

Thanks for the heads up CQ. I will have to think of where else I can get them.

I've seen them in B'n'Q and they are still listed on their website (http://www.diy.com/nav/garden/garden-care-watering/pest-weed-control/insect_control/-specificproducttype-insect___bug_control/Growing-Success-Deadfast-Sulphur-Candle-9426469?skuId=9717174) - doesn't mean they've got them in your local one but it's a start. :)

That was my next port of call actually. Is it the right time to do it now though, or do we wait til the spring?
-
I don't use them because until it seems like a bad idea I just scrub down with diluted Jeyes, but if I did I'd wait 'till spring so that anything not killed by frost might be just waking up thinking how lucky they'd been.......... ;)
