I had a very experience tree pruner here yesterday.  I happened to ask him if he was a licenced sprayer.
He replied, 'not anymore, the legislation on this product is so strict and diluted now, there is no point.  People can buy products in their garden centres which will be as good '

He's right Mrs B.  You can't easily buy anything stronger than the glyphosate concentrate available in garden centres, at least not over the counter. 

OH gets asked about spraying fairly often, but he's not keen these days.  He used to do a bit, but its more hassle than its worth now, as all the places he used to buy chemicals no longer stock them.

I think that Roundup is glysophate, isn't it ?  Mrs Bouquet

yes I believe its the very same Mrs B and yes there are plans to stop people using roundup but I could  it could encourage some to make there own weed killer?


I've youse'd roundup  for a number of years without any problem sensibly of cause and when they completely ban the use of roundup then I will need to act accordingly say no more!!

Mrs B, Roundup is Glyphosate, not Glysophate. Not sure if that was a typo or  if you thought it was a different product.
