I was just round at my neigbours house who lives across the road from me, and she asked me if i had got my chickens, so i said yes ive had them about 8wks now, so she then said have you got a poultry license, to which i said no, i didnt think you had to have a license to keep a 4 hens in your backgarden,  nickyx

Quote "are no problem wot so ever,"

Would you swop for our 7 who are devious, deviant, manipulative and cheeky?
They rush into the house and hide or rush out of the garden and under the car where they know you can't get at them, they've attacked a crow in the garden and mob you when you come home until you hand feed them corn (putting it on the floor won't do - you have to hold it in your hand for them). They come and stand on your feet and carry out long monologues about how badly treated they are. If you try and dig, the spade lifts up with several hens on it. If you need to put down something heavy there is always a hen just where you want to put it and if you try and give them food they don't desire (Weetabix or vegetables) they strut away with their heads held up just to show that such items are beneath their dignity to eat. .....no problem wot so ever, I wish.

On second thoughts the idea of not coming home to them would be awful.  :D
