Our squirrels dig up all my bulbs unless we cover the pots with wire netting, altyhough we do have a lot of fun watching the cats and squirrels chasing each other

the little sod just went past the window up to the walnut tree again, bold as brass.

I might cover what garlic I can with some of those old wire bakers trays just to give it a chance to get going.

Well I'm off up the fields to get hazelnuts, that'll teach 'em.
