Chillis very slow to germinate......

.....and being the cheapskate that I am I got my electric blacket out of storage, put the half that I need onto the windowsill, cover it with black plastic and popped my (unheatable) propagators on top. Set the temperature to 3 and sit back with my fingers crossed!!! :)

Careful when you're watering!
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

mine took ages to germinate .i put them inside next to a radiater and they came up fine.

Soak the seeds in camomile tea around 12 hours before, germination will speed up and camomile is a good natural fungiside

Mine have just popped their heads out today, think that has been 3 weeks. :D  two weeks in a normal propagator, then moved to a heated one a week ago.

same here a couple of mine have just popped up after nearly 3 weeks,no signs of the toms yet that were sown the same day
