Been looking into these as i have new area to dig over soon.

Am I right in thinking that they do similar job but r slightly different design and brands.

Anyone help with good visual images of these.

Or technical web sites.

Any info appreciated

Cheers WG.  Been told that it was not that cheap to make and therefore difficult to make margin for manufacturer. They have iconic status down my lottie. There is a lady gardner with one an having seen it working I need one. The only question is that people call it different things and I wanted to know the difference.

i have one them in my shed .. left behind from a previos tenant .its like carying 4 spades to the plot ......  :roll:

 :lol:  me too! yes they are heavy but they work brill on cultivated ground, work well on uncultivated as well once you dig a trench in front of them, as long as you only take smallish cuts.

Got a broken spring on mine  :(  not the little one but the ( shaped spring at the front must get round to getting it fixed.

Expensive carrier bag hanger matey according to one web site I was on earlier they have been known to go for up to £200 !! on ebay.   :shock:

Might flog mine in the spring and put towards my mantis fund  :lol:
