Me again.  I know I need to buy a book.

Further to Gloria getting her leg trapped in the slats of a garden chair and flapping around until we released her yesterday,she came out of the coup this morning as though she had forgotten about it, then remembered & was clearly uncomfortable. She's unable to put any weight on it although she's just jumped the metre or so up onto the side of the run to get into the garden with the others.

Do I make her rest?  If so how?  Do I pop her in the coup?

Hello Blarney,
As long as Gloria is happy to join in with her sisters, I'd just keep an eye on her.  If she is feeding and drinking, then I should think she is just a bit achey and may forgt about it as the day goes on. 
On the other hand, if she starts moping, rest her up in a smaller area by the coop.

Thank you Cathangirl, I will keep an eye on her.
I can see that she wants to put weight on it but is just struggling a bit. It appears slightly better than last night. She's had a small amount of layers pellets this morning so I guessed she wasn't in agony.  I just feel so sorry for her!
