Title: Another go
Post by: Nails on March 18, 2010, 18:36
Right, i am just going to put some more eggs in the inncy, i have selected the freshest i can get which are from the last 3 days, none of them are dirty, and i have not had to clean them at all, i have had inncy running for 2 weeks now, its been cleaned and disinfected as well, the temp has been a steady 39 which i can't change, the humidity, is a bit high, but all i need to do is take out some of the kitchen roll, so i think i am set, before i put them in has anyone got any last mintue suggestions, i need to get it right this time!!!!!!

Is there a reason that the temp is 39.... surely this is too high for the incubation to go well :(

Is that measured at the top of the eggs or inline with the middle of the eggs?

Shouldn't the temp be 99 fahrenheit/37.2 celsius?  Like it would be under a hen...body temp?

the temp should be 100 f 37.5 c your temp at 39 c is to high it will only cause problems can you drill some small holes in the top till you get right temp or get a proper incubator .
