I knew that!!    ;) ;)

I always find that if I have cereal for breakfast, I am hungry by 12, but if I have had eggs, I can go on longer!

I always disagreed with the so called experts when they said not to have more than 4 eggs a week.  Shame I've just had cereal again!  :D

Eggs always fill me up. On holiday if I have a cooked breakfast I don't really need a lunch...

I'm like that on Sundays Nerdle.  If I make us a 'proper' breakfast, I don't have lunch.  Then when Brian says its lunchtime, he has to make his own sandwich if I'm working in the garden!   ;)

I prefer to have boiled eggs with crispbread for my breakfast. Im unable to eat ANY kind of cereal, even porridge, 'cos when I do, after around 3 hours, my blood sugar goes all to pot and I get hot, dizzy and very very hungry. Not a nice sensation. After Ive stuffed my face, I get very tired indeed and have to have a little nap......any excuse!!

Do you get similar symptoms after eating say a chocolate biscuit instead of a meal? And do you find it difficult to go longer than normal between meals?

If so, ask your GP to have you checked out for sucrase iso-maltase deficiency, as the symptoms you just described match that condition.

Sorry, didnt mean to hijack the thread.
