Post by: nzdunn on September 07, 2009, 11:27
, sorry all you cat owners i dont mean to offend but im sick and tired of seeing cats poo in the girls dust bath which they created themselves, does anyone have any tips of some kind of deterrant i can put down to stop them pooing init.   Ive tried to cover it over at nite but theres still poo in there in the morning, good news though the cat and the owner are moving out this mth.   nickyx

i'd say you have your answer if the cat is moving on!

you could try getting a male to mark the territory (spray) that might deter cats but there are quite comfy with humans so i dunno!

My own cats do it, it is annoying, there are sprays you can get but i guess they would put the chooks off as well :(

Cats hate citrus so a few drops of orange oil (from health food shops) should do the trick, although I have no idea whether the chooks would also dislike it.
