Hi trying to work out if we have two hens... Two rooster's or one of each ?
I have some ideas by the ways they have been reacting .... But would like some more help please .

They were born 10th and 11th sept . Unknown type as they were eggs given by plot holder below and mothered by our Broody silkies.

They look like hens to me, I guess you'll only know for sure when they start crowing or laying.

Have been waiting for a crow... Nothing yet however have witnessed one of the two chicks on the back/treading /dominating some of the silkies .. so have been wondering if that's a dominance thing ... Pecking order or in fact trying to mate ?

Number 1 has rather sturdy legs and upright stance for hen. Not sure about number 2.

Defo think the lighter one's a hen. The other one's wattle & comb are very small for a cockerel so prob also a hen. I've had hens that try to mount other hens, it is a dominance thing.

Looks like a curl on the tail feather cockrel l like.
Check the shape of the neck feathers pointed male rounded female

Hi, both of them have been chest bumping with eachother .... Having not raised any from eggs myself I'm not quite sure what I'm looking for..

I saw the cockerel (father) today and he is absolutely huge.. has the same colours as the darker one however there is a hen with the darker colours as well  and then all the other hens are the lighter /white colouring

one looks like a warren and the other looks like a calder, similar to warren but lighter in colour. so hens

males and females chest bump; they're trying to sort out their places in the pecking order. If one were a cockerel I'd expect him to have a much redder comb and wattle than the other, since they were about 3 weeks old. So I think you've got lucky and got 2 pullets
