No the Villiers are a world of thier own. I have seen them with Honda and Honda copies on but I think is a bit of a task. Welding in new mounts ect but it would be a cracker when done. If its the 14" deck you would get away with a 5hp motor but you would need to add weight to keep the balance. THe 16" deck would need more power.

its the 16" frank thats what got me interested
ive got a welder so that wouldnt be much trouble i dont think
would the honda connect up ok to the drive? was just wondering if its just the engine mounting thats the problem?

You would need the centrifugal clutch for your motor then adapt the sprocket to fit your new clutch. It can be done but expensive unless you have access to a lathe and the likes.

turnings not realy my thing, havent got a clue who has got one now, a few years ago a bloke turned loads of adaptors for my racing cart but he died :(
what would it be doing it the Villiers wasnt being governd then?

without the governor it would take on your cart   . It just means you would have to set the throttle to compensate for the engine load manually

ah ok
so it would be pinking a fair bit as it gos from hard to soft ground think ive got ya
if it went bang thats another 150 for a engine and it it sells for 100 on the bay thats one of them new ones, in sept i will have my mates big van for a week so could collect one and save on postage and i ont realy need it until the end of sept anyway will i.
