« on: February 27, 2014, 16:00 »
Apparently the one I had in mind to purloin has been given to the charity shop  I want another but can't seem to find them any more.  Are they called something else nowadays?  multi purp in my egg salad in getting on my nerves.

I use 2 squares of kitchen towel folded up on a saucer.

Hydroponics - no compost!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Here have been issues with forgetting to water and over watering

The one I used to had a flat top with ring grooves in for the seed and a reservoir on the bottom, it kept the structure damp enough to germinate / water the cress.

My neighbours think Im strange enough without looking in the window and seeing an egg box caterpillar  ::)

MoS has the closest match so far - something a little less arts and crafts would be nice.
