I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

If it is gapeworm then you will need flubenvet and antibiotic cover (for secondary bacterial infections).

I had a few chickens that I thought had gapeworm but it turned out to be a mycoplasma like infection. A quick course or baytril/tylan or oxytetracycline can work well.

oh  - and is there any bubbles on her eyes, rattling from her mouth, is she eating and drinking? does she look pale or in respiratory distress?

Best wishes

Andy

It could be anyone of lots of respiritory infections but I agree with silky smooth a visit to the vets is needed and all your hens will need to be treated just in case. I have several antibiotics here - aureomycin, tylan, denegard and each has it own uses (I have never been prescribed baytril but I know lots have), when you get the antibiotic check with your vets what the egg withdrawal period is - some are nil such as the three I have mentioned but others are anything from 1 day to a lifelong ban.
Staffies are softer than you think.
