I was given an Alton wooden greenhouse which I have erected on my plot.  Several panes of glass got broken and I am trying to find a cheap and preferably unbreakable replacement.  I thought that double walled plastic would be suitable but have been unable to find a source for the quite large sheets that I will need.

Most of the greenhouses on my site are constructed from wood and perspex from old bus shelters and it works a treat.  I'm not sure if thats the kind of thing you are thinking of but it will maybe give you an idea.

B&Q have them but can't remember how much.

Good evening Dave and welcome to the site, Alton glass is Dutch light size isn`t it, 56" x 28 3/4"? Have you tried contacting Altons to se if they do twin walled polycarb for it?

there's  twin walled polycarbonate on Ebay and they cut to size but im not sure on price.
