Lovely pix, DD. I adore the water feature in #4 but I think it's a bit big for my garden. Pic #3 is my kind of place.

This is the water feature, called "Revelation" in action.

Not the best quality video though..

Brilliant pics DD. Had a couple of picnics there when we lived that way but were too tight to pay to go in.

Wonderful place though. Thanks for paying and sharing

There isn't anything I can add to that DD. The pics are fantastic and of the same topics as mine. We did take a naughty peek in the kitchen greenhouses this year (what keep out notice   ) and the Revelation fascinates me.
Have you ever paddled on the steps?
I was hoping to go and see the house decorated for Christmas but don't think I will have time now.

Wow fab photies DD :D

Don't know if the rules have changed but back in 1999 you could take your dogs in the grounds as long as they were on a lead :)

Vember (the cat) loved it

Had to look that up. I think there will be claims and counter claims here! Initial search shows Stanway House in the Cotswold claims 300 feet, whilst the one at Chatsworth has reached 290. The Stanway house website don't even give a nod to Chatsworth as second highest, claiming Whitley court at 121 feet is second!

Went today, I have to say it is amazing, everything about it is superb, theres not a single angle anywhere in all of he gardens that doesnt have a magnificant view. Plus the veg area is superb, i got a bit jelous of all there beautiful veg, espicially onions. As we walked round a few of the red currants just jumped into our mouthes, honest   :tongue2:
If you want to be happy for a short time - get drunk.

If you want to be happy for a long time - fall in love.

If you want to be happy forever - take up gardening!
