Just as a heads up.. I've received a text saying it was from Gov.Uk offering £283.76 for each household as part of it's battle against Covid-19. It came with a link to a website to apply for the money.
I deleted the message immediately but see online the advice is don't click the link.

Hello that scams  been running since first lock down we were told to  apply for self employed Grant's  at Gov.uk i filled in the first form got to the end it said we need to go to a credit reference agency to proceed click permission I clicked it sorry it said we cant find a credit reference 2nd form same again 3rd form let's you get to the end then says if you were unsuccessful on the first 2 applications dont apply for the 3rd lot it's an on going scam   yet they've sent me a tax bill this year so must know I exist    jezza
