T'is cheap to do, and the clump up quickly. Mine have been in 3 years or so, and look "established" already. I paid £70 / 1,000 (and the "counting" seems to guess and err on the generous side).  Mine came from www.eurobulbs.co.uk

Been to Hodsock at least twice - wonderful display although timing is everything of course (one day like yours DD, another one, er, not!)

We picked yesterday because of the weather forecast. There's not been a lot of suitable days recently and there's little point going if the weather's miserable!

They have those winter flowering honeysuckle bushes which have a fantastic citrus aroma. Delicious!

DD, did you mean moi?    It is a lovely place. I've been twice & actually thought about going again last Sunday, but we went to Bradgate. It's not far from my home town of Doncaster so took my Mum the second time & she liked it too. Lovely photo's & lucky you for choosing the right day. Did they have a bonfire down in the woody bit?

I love snowdrops and cyclamen and have both in my garden, but to see huge swathes of them like that is a real treat
