Freya was a relatively tame little beast here (despite getting her name wrong!)

The weather front did deliver 5mm of rain yesterday, which is an absolute deluge compared to recent weeks. 

Still quite windy here but very bright at the moment.

There was a deluge here at 1am which woke me up, hammering on windows and gutters overflowing  the wind never amounted to much, really, as the highest gust was 30mph.
The temperature dropped as the storm passed and it's now 6C, the sky is a lighter grey than yesterday and there's a light breeze.

Like others, it poured here all day and the wind speed got up to 39.   Today is 8c, not quite so overcast, sun trying its best.  Still windy though.   Rain forecast for this afternoon.

A fraught night, but checking this morning everything was still there, couple of cracked fence panels but they were rotten anyway.  The rest of the day has been a bit of a mixed bag, bright and sunny one minute horizontal rain the next.

[Plot 1 Problems]

Dodged the rain and hail today to nip to the plot to survey the damage from last night's wind. My plot was fine (it's well sheltered) but I spent quarter of an hour finding the polycarbonate panels from my friend's greenhouse and putting them back in for him. He's buying the drinks on Wednesday

Down to 2C overnight in the greenhouse, but 6C now and feeling a bit chilly in the breeze.

Sunny, although the sky is white not blue !  11c, quite a moderate wind though.   Doesn't feel too warm.

We didn't get the 80% chance of rain overnight from the Met Office. Could do with it. A light frost this morning. Sunny and breezy at present. Supposed to rain overnight - wonder if we can do better with a 95% chance of rain?

It was dry today but bitter wind which is now howling down the chimney and it's raining too.

A grey, windy, drizzly day YUK!
It says it's 10C but feels considerably colder than that, the overnight low in the g/house was 8C.

It rained again overnight to make up for what the winds had dried out since Sunday. I went for a walk around the plots but decided that the showers were a bit too frequent for useful work. Try again Friday I think.

Last night the wind demons were shouting down the chimney and today it's a gale out there with horizontal driving rain. Pretty cold too - about 5º - and that's out of the wind chill. Wish I'd stayed in bed!

Sunny this morning but still doesn't feel warm in a strong breeze, 11C - the right weather for March, I suppose LOL we just got spoilt with the warm spell we had.
