There's been a few recent posts about leek moth, do a search and they should come up  :)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

i have lost all my leeks to leek moth ,the * put 30 in at the end of july after the spuds came out, they have now gone to straw like at the top ,and mush at the bottom ,rottern away, kept a few in the ground ,that didnt look too bad, just to see what happens.

never had any leek moth last year im in southampton,is it an area thing.or national wide  this year.

Our whole site has been hit.   We had the same problem last year.  I put In 120 ( hey I like leeks) and I've got about 90 left.  About 20 of which still have little chance of making it through to Winter.  Ther rest of them might struggle too.  Very bleak.

We grew them from seed outside in raised beds this year so I thought they might be a bit toughter.

I feel really bad as we gave away our remaining baby leeks (well over 400 plants) this summer so hardly anyone bothered to grow had any substitue plants.  Now it's too late to order any baby leeks.  D'oh!

I hate buying leeks.
