6" Square galvanised netting...
« on: August 26, 2019, 18:21 »
I'm looking at running the blueberries and gooseberries up against a net next year, and am looking for a few yards of galvanised - or even coated - netting, which is the stuff normally used by farmers to keep stock in, and rabbits out!

Can I find it? Naaah!

Does anyone know the correct term for the stuff please? It has 6" squares, with a double layer at the bottom, and is pretty sturdy stuff! We left all our pieces for the new tenants down at 'The Patch', so they're lucky and we're not!

Hello try an agricultural merchant they usually do a couple of different heights  of stock fencing and a handy tip to keep it tensioned put it up the opposite way to what it's  rolled up or it will have a bow in tight won't get straight  jezza

Oh sorry Growster, somethings changed with how this site interprets the emojis on my iPad (& other members I note) & shows those numbers etc instead of the picture

Snows! Never fear!

I love working (playing) on my Ipad, and as my fingers are now like the proverbial bunch of bananas, I prefer to write my stuff on the PC - I feel safer that way, and only yesterday, was thinking that I must never do any financial stuff on the Ipad, as I'm sure, as eggs is eggs, that that nice gentleman in Nigeria would get all our hard-earned pensions because of a shaky tap...
