 Just seen a ferret out the front of the house. It disappeared into a garden opposite. There is an advert in a local shop for a missing ferret. Going away for a weeks holiday tomorrow, a friend is calling in daily but lives a mile away. I am now very worried that it will get into the hens

Sorry but this is a reqll possibility. Can you phone the number given and get them to come and search for it in the area you saw it. Hope you get this before you go away

We left yesterday morning. Will just have to hope it moves on or someone catches it soon. I would imagine it will be really hungry by now.
