We have two sorts of quail purchased in Spain. One are the normal ttype small and with white throats and strippy markings the others are over one and a half times as big and darker feathered with no markings.
Can anyone tell us what the latter are called and are they in a fat a hybrid.l

2nd lot are jumbo quail i think  only time i have anything to do with quail is eating them
