kitchen tongs

Whilst waiting for my wife to come home from work this morning i thought I would get a nice fry up ready. I then decided I was fed up with the cheap tongs we have. you know the ones from the supermarket with silicone hands which bend back when trying to pick anything up. A fried tomato is virtually impossible !  anyway while I was waiting I thought I would post on here to ask if anyone could recommend some. The oxo ones seemed to get good reviews so I was thinking maybe I should get those. Meanwhile she arrived home and I was moaning about the tongs and she said oh hang on! she then produced a pair of oxo 12" tongs which we had been given with a free gas barbecue a few weeks before. Bit of a coincidence and saved a few quid. They look good too !

I don't use tongs. I have asbestos fingers.

And a silicone fish slice.
