I picked my 1st Golden Nugget squash today..........it was about 4in across and wasn't really quite ripe (the skin was still a bit soft). It looked too tempting to leave there though

I microwaved it for a while then stuffed it with chopped onion, tomato and grated cheese, oregano and a pinch of chilli and microwaved a bit more. It was lovely with some crusty bread

This is my first year with Golden Nugget but will deffinitely grow it again as it grows bushy like a courgette, not sprawling all over the place

Sounds delish, my squash are behaving at the moment, but if they get out if hand I may grow these next year.
