A Big Thank You
« on: March 24, 2009, 17:02 »
:) I would just like to say a BIG Thank You to everyone on Frugal Living. This is my first year growing my own veg in my garden. My sis told me about the site and I joined and I'm so glad I did.
I admit that before I read all the advise and tips I would have been running to the garden centre and B&Q for all types of bits and pieces to set myself up, but now I find myself thinking about every job I do and how I can do it cheaper or better still for free, not forgetting all the bits and pieces I have recycled.
Everytime I come up with a cheap alternative I think how much more money I am saving growing my own, thats without how wonderful it will be to wander into the garden and pick it.
THANK YOU ALL :D

Ha ha Fruitfulls sis
Have you got to the stage yet where you don't throw things away in case they might be useful?
Or peering into skips!
It drives the rest of the family mad!

Yes!  Hope you've got a tough skin, as other people don't always approve of us poking around in skips, tips, dumps, bins etc!  What the heck!
