Title: strawberry plants & hand tools at aldi
Post by: wildwitchy on March 27, 2009, 20:22
aldi are selling 6 strawberry plants for 2.99. I bought some yesterday from acocks green, birmingham. They are early, mid & late varieites.

stainless steel hand tools for 1.68. They are really good & strong. Been using them today to put in my raspberry canes.

i think all aldi's have the same offers countrywide. check online.

I had a quick shufty in Aldi earlier and the strawberry plants look nice and healthy. I resisted the temptation to buy some as I have already got loads :)

Hi faz, yeh they are healthy & quite big. Just got to stick mine in now. I bought 36 for under 12 quid. I find aldi quite good for gardening things.

I got their multi tool, very nice, can't offord anyone elses heads for it though, even though they provide adapter heads as well! I might try and make a tilth crumbler head with one of the adapter bits though

What varieties are the strawberries? I could do with a few more. ;)
