So happy. Treacle, my rescued naked neck with the hunched back, has started to lay. Her eggs are whoppers and the first one was a double yolk. I still love to collect the eggs every day and especially now.  Treacles mummy tried to kill her, probably cos of her deformity, so my neighbour gave her to me (she knows I have healing hands) and said she didn't hold out much chance of the chick surviving. Now look she is a lovely big friendly chook and is giving us double yolkers, just goes to show aye
