Title: Green Compost (Green Manure)
Post by: Dirt Diver on September 30, 2010, 09:01
Hi

Sorry if this has been asked before but I have lots of large free raised beds.  Would it be good to plant Green Compost and if so which.

Does anybody use it

On last night's Beechgrove Garden (BBC1 Scotland) they discussed planting Italian Rye grass as a green manure for over winter, which I thought an interesting idea. This has been discussed before in here, perhaps under the title of "green manure".
