Do cat's catch colds just as humans do?

I don't remember my previous cats catching colds (Apart from a greek feral I nursed through catflu) but Lucy seems to have cought my cold :( and keeps sneezing..........I know how she feels, it's a nasty one :(

Yes they can, one of ours had one for well over a week, just kept him warm & made sure he had plenty of fluids.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Yep, my Niblet (catflu carrier so more prone to bugs anyway) has a stinking one at the moment - her ears are hurting her and she's sneezing away. I'm popping her to the vets tomorrow as I think all her ear scratching may have caused an infection  ::) Although, how she managed to get one when she never leaves the house (I have a litter tray just for her as she wont go outside if slightly wet or cold and will hold for days otherwise  ??? )!!

Tempt him with some cat milk, good for fluid levels and doesn't upset the tum like normal milk, and wet food as this also boosts fluids - and lots of cuddles to keep him warm

Cats can't catch human viruses, however my 2 siamese are really poorly with flu-like symptoms which is rather worrying
