Which malt vinegar

Does it make much difference to chutney which you use, im using the cheap ASDA value stuff at the moment, or should i use a pricier product  :unsure:

It has to be at least 5% stuff - read Val's book for really good tips like this.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

5% of what, its only got spirit vinegar and malt extract in it according to the label :unsure:

Over 5% acidic content. If it's not on the jar, it'll be under that. You need it to be that strength for it's preserving qualities.

I doubt it. You will just have to eat it quicker as it won't store as well.
