We buy chicken turkey lamb and pork from a local farm.  It's all superb.  The chickens are slaughtered at 15 weeks and have great flavour and can weigh up to 6 pounds or so.

As well as a great product I get enormous satisfaction knowing its locally grown and killed, supports local business and provides employment and circulates cash into our community.

I'm working today but sending my partner to get meat today; I was impressed with everything that we bought - the flavour was great and, like you said, there's a lot of satisfaction from supporting local business & knowing it was reared and killed locally.
