Here in the UK, compared to the USA we are very much in the dark ages when it comes to both the products and prices  available to the poultry keeper.

Read em and weep as they say. Have you seen the prices of the antbiotics and vaccines that the American public can buy over the counter. It makes you wonder how much our vets are making out of every jab of penicilin they hand out. :shock:

It's the same across the board :(
I paid £20 last week for a vet visit for my dog (2nd in a row the first week was £80) this week i have the same £20 coming.. he needed an injection that cost 8p... yes.. 8p and I paid £20 for the priviledge... vet fee and injection administration fee accounted for the rest. :(
