Title: Hello from Alison in Cheshire
Post by: AlisonT100 on September 21, 2016, 19:57
Hello everyone,

I was kindly invited to this forum by John who I contacted recently for some advice.

A little about me: I used to be a very firm believer in living off the land and became an avid forager and organic gardener. We also kept ducks, geese and chickens. Unfortunately, due to an accident and then a botched hip replacement which has left me pretty much disabled, we're just down to keeping chickens. However, I still adore nature and its offerings, and when I have a "good day", I'll be in the kitchen, baking up a storm with my girls' fantastic eggs, and any fruits or berries I may have handy.

I hope to learn lots from joining the forum and hopefully, I may even be able to contribute - especially if it's poultry related.

Thank you for reading my post, and please bear with me if my navigation around the forum is slow to begin with! :D

Hi and welcome  :)

We always get lots of questions on the poultry forums so another experienced voice is great news  :)

Hi there, that's a hell of a lot for you to come to terms with, congratulations on sounding so upbeat. We have a very active what's for tea thread & show us your bakes so you'll fit in to those beautifully
