Question from an amateur: I've just bought a number of packets of seeds for various plants. My thoughts were to keep them to sow next year, but now im impatient and a little bored. Am i too late to plant them for this year? The packets seem to say to sow may - early june.
Its basic stuff like sweat peas etc btw.
Or should i pack them away for the "correct" time next year?

Everything was late this year, weather a bit weird. Why not try it and see. At most you'll lose a few packets of seed and a little of your time

Yes, I'd give some a go.  Theres usually more seed in a packet than we need any way so seal the packets up well and save what you dont sow for next year
I find a lot of stuff does better sown late and it usually catches up.  Only thing is we have had the longest day and they seem to know that and it does seem to change things but i would still try some, especially as your keen  to get going:)
