Hi

Can anyone diagnose what's up with my rose bush - second year. It has nearly no leaves only 5 or 6 small small at the top and it made a petty attempt to flower earlier in the year but only one or two and I took them off.

Ive been on this website trying to find the problem but I can't decide what it is.

You have a lot of die back on your rose bush
Have you got scale insect on the stems, sometimes the leaves as well.......tiny grey/brown creatures like limpets?.............it got on some of my roses a few years ago and killed a big one before i worked out what was happening.
