I suppose it may have seeds, but I think it usually comes as roots.

Be aware that it is very very invasive so it is best to grow it in a large pot rather than open ground
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

You can buy root cuttings from your local garden centre. You’ll probably find them alongside rhubarb and garlic……at least that’s where I found mine. I’ve no experience with horse radish seed though. :)

I got a couple of short bits of root (bought online), and planted them in large pots - which are stood on paving slabs to stop them rooting through the pot into the ground below!

Make your horseradish sauce outside - its would be very pungent if you were to do it indoors (probably worth wearing safety specs, you really don't want any going in your eyes ...)

Wilkinsons sell it, saw it in there the other day, was tempted but resisted.  They seem to sell a lot of gardening stuff these days :)

my dad used to grow it but he said you needed goggles when you grate it - it's about 10 times worse than onions. But it's the best flavour - much stronger than the bought stuff

One of the old boys on our plots kindly gave me a root at the weekend which I popped in a spare corner.......when we say 'invasive'....how bad? I like horseradish but dont want it taking over,is that only likely if you let it seed?
