[La Porterie]

  Our neighbours young dog attacked one of our chickens yesterday, she has some abrasions and cuts and loss of feathers which have been attended to but she also has a broken or dislocated claw.  She seems to be moving about without a problem and even climbing the ladder and my instinct is to let alone but would welcome suggestions please. We live in France and vets are not very chicken minded!

Keep a good eye on her. If she is getting around alright and eating and drinking i would leave her alone. If she is not managing and seems to be in pain take her to the vets

We had one that had broken her toe, didn't seem to bother her, bothered me more, took her to the vets and she had to have it amputated, think you just need to make sure it doesn't get to dirty or mucky as that is when infections set in which is what had happened to ours, so they had to take the whole middle toe off!

I had a similar problem once, I just taped her toe straight. It has never bothered her.
