help with bees !!

hello,

i need some help please !!

i noticed today that i have a bee/bee's going into a hole in the brick of my bin shed 

they are maybe half inch long with a red bottom 

now normally i would welcome any type of bee but the problem is it is maybe a foot from my front door and with the kid's in and out all of the time i'm worried they might get stung

any advise would be fab

unless its a bumble which is a big bee it is probably a mason bee so no need to worry they will not sting they are know as safe bees the male has no sting at all the female does but is very very unlikely to use it unless she is picked up and handled roughly and then it is a very weak sting.
