Rush of blood to the head!
« on: February 09, 2011, 21:23 »
Can't believe I've just got away with this.  OH said why don't we get a decent coop and run for Alphie the Serama boy who has just been ejected from the main run.  That way you can get him 2 or 3 girls.

Just bought a house and run on line (found a bargain) and OH said that's good - lets keep the rabbit hutch and run as well, just in case. Well, it would be rude to refuse..............heh heh heh  ;)

My wife asked me the other day when we were going to hatch some more eggs...... this is from the woman who was adamant we were never having chickens, and then proceeded to suggest a pond so we could get some ducks!

Do you think those subliminal messaging CDs would work if I made my own, something along the lines of "ducks are great, everyone needs ducks in their garden"?  I could then play it every night whilst the other half is asleep!   :D  :D

Speaking as someone whose OH has filled the shed, under the stairs and the spare room with camping gear I would say at least we nag ask............rather then just buy and leave for wifey to discover  ;)

Mine dear husband has got a flipping raindeer skin now for putting under his sleeping bag when he sleeps out in a hammock - imagine my face when finding that as I put some of his gear abandoned downstairs back into the blanket chest he keeps stuff in

I'm seriosly thinking about getting some runner duck eggs to hatch.  Apparantly they don't need loads of water (a large paddling pool will do), and they do look sooo gorgeous!

 :nowink:

Ahem... need a bigger garden!
