Don't try this at home !

Yesterday in the pouring rain I took biscuits and coffee to the arborists down the garden.  They forgot the biscuits and the plate filled with water.   Later I made them more coffee and fresh biscuits.  One man said, can't you put the soggy biscuits in the microwave to dry out !     I bought them in, and wondered if one could.
The answer is NO.   Very hard biscuits and the house smelled of burnt cake.  Tried and failed  !!!  But the birds enjoyed them.    Mrs Bouquet

Actually, they were both very charming and polite young men (who did an excellent job for me).   His comment was just tongue in cheek and we all laughed.   They don't know I tried it  Mrs Bouquet
