Title: Honda 140 engine
Post by: leeky on October 16, 2007, 02:06
Got a spare Honda engine here. It is a 140, but looking at the link

 http://www.honda-engines-eu.com/en/welcome.html

for the GX engines, there is no 140. There is a 120 and a 160. Is this because the 140 is discontinued or something?

hmm. it says 5.5 hp on it, and thats what the 160 is.

More investigation needed.

Cheers for the link Frankie.

Yep its a 140 5hp. Brother works on gokarts and one of the engines fell into his van somehow.

Good spare incase the even older one explodes on the roto. Seems to be the same deal with the mounts and shaft.  :D

The honda will be a "Q" fitting Same for a lot of horizontal engines with a parralel shaft. Stick it on the Ariens over the winter, And I am sure your flopy lever is Reverse.
