Potash

Hi

Do we need to use potash on our potatoes? - no idea what we are doing so thought we would ask? We have planted them with well rotted manure and have used growmore - do we need anything else?

As far as I'm concerned you overdone it already - but I'm on rich soil - I only use manure.

I dig in composted manure and give a drop of potato fertiliser when the haulms are about half grown.

with the current world price of Potash, i doubt anyoen wants to re mortgag there house to buy a 25kg bag................

Potato fert is cheap. I buy it in big sacks.
