I've got some potash. I know it's supposed to be used sparingly-is it 1 tablespoon per watering can or less?

Can you tell us a bit more about it as potash (salts containing potassium) comes in various forms which would determine application rates?

Erm........... I'm afraid I can't answer that-I know that makes me sound like a numpty!
I've been given some from another allotmenteer whose husband works at a potash mine. Just realised how dodgy this sounds......
