Pine nuts, an alternative.
« on: January 03, 2023, 16:36 »
Good afternoon everyone,
after accidentally leaving the freezer door open, out went all the pesto!  Does anyone have a suggestion as to an alternative to pine nuts?

I'll ask on a suitable section for the basil with the largest leaves and strongest flavour.

Cheers,  Tony

You can use any nuts really.  Cashews are the nearest in taste, but the others work and only change the flavour a bit.
