Our broody hen hatched three chicks at the beginning of June, and mum and babies have been living quite happily in a stable, away from the other hens.
The broody hen has just started laying eggs again, and if we open the stable door, she goes outside and wanders around (all our hens are completely free range, and they roost in a coop at night).
When would you introduce the new chicks to the rest of the gang?
