I already posted this on Chicken chat - shows how long I've been away.
Do minorcas thrive in a penned environment (4m x 4m) with occasional outings to forage?
I have been offered some pullets but don't want them to be miserable. Has anyone kept this breed before?
Thanks

can only find info on minorca bantams but this is what it says,
They tend to fly rather high so need an enclosed run but are good layers of large white eggs. their large comb and wattles can be suseptible to frost. given time these birds can be reasonably friendly!
this was from my chicken encyclopedia book, hope this helps a little??
thinks her guardian angel`s gone on strike !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
