We've gone from 80% chance of rain (thunderstorms) tomorrow night to 60% - I'm thinking that by tomorrow night there'll be zero chance Why do they start with such certainty when the obviously aren't sure
My theory is that the aircon has broken down at Met Office HQ resulting in a bad tempered breakdown in communications between the 'Department of Issuing Mostly Unnecessary Yellow Warnings' and the 'Department of Occasionally Accurate Weather Forecasting.'
Can't think of any other explanation as to why there is a yellow warning for thunderstorms here from 1400 today to 0200 Saturday morning, yet no rain currently forecast during that period via the weather icons.
Anyway, 2 rumbles and 3 drops of rain yesterday evening, total 0.2mm, no rumbles but 1.8mm of rain this morning.
I'd just like a decent steady downpour for at least an hour, with or without rumbles.
