in total we have eight birds . six baker brown and 2 black marans . there 18 weeks old at the minute . To be honest when they arrived i was surprised at how big they are

your new chickens are lovely, i got my first two ever chucks last friday, two cuckoo marans, its like they have always been here now      nickyx

they are beautiful . i spent a few hours just watching them today . Can already see a pecking order emerging . Earnie is defo the boss . I am very lucky that they are perching straight away aswell .

Reading this post has convinced me to get some hens. Bring on the poo paranoia and all other associated strangeness that seems to go hand in hand with keeping hens.

so pleased for you  don't you just love them! when we saw Harold he said he was delivering them for you, he's a lovely bloke and always answers are questions when we phone him up even offered to drop us some medicine off good luck with them

yep we are totally in love with them already . We werent expecting eggs for 2 weeks but have had 3 already . We already have one that follows us everywhere in the hope that we have corn and she is fully tamed and easy to handle . Many thanks for putting us in touch with him . Was it you he mentioned had a hen with a poorly toe . If so i hope she is on the mend and fighting fit . Harold really is a lovely chap and i will definately be recommending him to others if need be
