Hiya Guys,
I went to JTF today (can't help with what it stands for!
), They have a half decent range in store (my local being Sheffield). It is a 'cardholders' only place but most people can get one through work i think.
They have the thin plastic sheeting greenhouses for 30 quid which are ok for a garden i suppose. They have a good range of pop up patio planters for probably a third of most garden centre prices.
My best purchase was Mr Fothergills seeds (not that i needed any more!). They have a decent range at 4 for a quid (even says the price on the back, some being at 2.30 a packet!). I got Courgettes (soleil, romanesco and Firenze), Chard (Bright lights), Lettuce, leeks, herbs, green manure and some sweet peas. All in all about 30 quidsworth of seeds for 4 quid. All in date BTW, most planted by 2012.
So there you have it, brilliant for seeds and tools aswell.
Steve
